Image Licensing
Usage terms and credits for the photography on this site.
1. Copyright
Unless otherwise credited, every photograph published on travel-prescriptions.com is original work, taken on the trips the itineraries describe, and is protected by copyright. Each image carries embedded copyright metadata identifying Travel Prescriptions as the rights holder — this survives downloading, resaving, or re-uploading the file elsewhere.
2. What you may do
- Share a page link, or repost a low-resolution preview with visible attribution and a link back to the source page.
- Save images for personal, offline trip planning.
- Quote short excerpts of the written itineraries with attribution, as with any editorial text.
3. What requires permission
- Reproducing a full-resolution image in print, in another publication, or in marketing material.
- Using any photograph commercially, including on a business website, product, or advertisement.
- Removing, cropping out, or altering embedded copyright metadata.
4. Third-party imagery
On the rare occasion a photograph isn’t our own — a historical image, a map, or a contributed shot — it is captioned with its original source and licensed under the terms that source requires. That caption is the authoritative license for that image, not this page.
5. Requesting a license or reporting misuse
For a licensing request, or to report unauthorized use of a Travel Prescriptions photograph, email info@travel-prescriptions.com or use the contact form with the image URL and how you’d like to use it. We aim to respond within a few days.
